Our Beliefs
At The Apostle's Church, we hold to the core beliefs of historic Christianity as revealed in the Bible. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our guide for faith and practice, and we are committed to teaching and living according to its truth.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, guides, teaches, and empowers believers for godly living and service.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. It is a free gift from God, not earned by good works, but received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers. The local church is a community of believers who gather for worship, fellowship, instruction, and service.
Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to eternal life with God, and the lost to eternal separation from God.
